Bag Puppet Party Favor

FOR EACH FAVOR YOU WILL NEED:

lunch bag
construction paper in bright colors
yarn in bright colors
TOOLS: scissors, white glue, hole punch

1. Fold a piece o f construction paper and cut a mouth t o fit in the fold at the bottom of the bag, making it as wide as the bag. Glue the mouth in the fold.

2. Cut eyes from construction paper and glue them on the bag bottom above the mouth.

3. Cut snips of brightly colored yarn. Glue the Y yarn around the eyes for hair.

4. Cut buttons, bows, or whatever you want to decorate the body of the puppet. Glue them in place.

5. Fill the bag puppet with candy and prizes. Fold back both layers of the opening o f the bag. Punch a hole in the folded edge and run a piece of yarn through the hole. Tie the yarn in a bow t o hold the bag closed.

Make these puppets using lots o f different colors so your table will look wonderful.
